FBC’s scheduling and build process are the tightest in the industry, which means many projects are typically complete in just 10 – 12 weeks.
It all started with a basement remodel
In the fall of 1997, the editor of the Rocky Mountain News’ Spotlight Section was browsing the Fall Home Show and was intrigued by a new company offering a service she had never seen before: specialty basement finishing. She did her research and interviews and wrote an article. Two weeks later (and three days before our phones were connected), the Rocky Mountain News published a front-page article featuring our exciting new organization: Finished Basement Company.
At Finished Basement Company, we designed and built basements — great basements. Since our formation, we’ve finished more basements than anyone in the nation while developing into a premier design-build firm specializing solely in basement remodels.
A funny thing happened, though. All those basements we finished had happy families enjoying them, and they wanted the rest of their homes to feel as well-designed as their basements. How could we say no? Now, twenty-plus years later, our design/build process is available for any part of your home — kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, and specialty spaces — because we’re determined to create great spaces that matter.
